About Me
If your reading this it is your first step on a brave journey.
I started my career in the corporate world as a manager within a global organisation; at the same time I satisfied my passion for young people by being a youth leader; however being a Psycotherapeutic counsellor had been an aspiration.
I embarked on my own therapy, a journey that was both painful and liberating. A journey of exploration, of digging up and throwing out. A journey of challenge and hard work but one of change that I didn't think possible but has become my reality.
Part of that journey was to train for the career I had always wished for.
What I offer
Counselling
As an integrative therapist I offer a genuine, non-judgmental, honest environment. I use various methods and theories to understand each unique client and their struggles to provide an exclusive therapeutic experience.
I believe people live in ways that have been influenced by thoughts and beliefs learnt from childhood and beyond. These can cause conflict within our lives and affect how we feel, our thoughts and behaviours.
Therapy uses the unique relationship between therapist and client to vocalise things never said, to feel and explore emotions suppressed or are overwhelming in order to live a life that is desired.

What to Expect
In the first session time is given for the client to tell their story, from there I use talking as well as more creative ways to facilitate and guide the exploration. The session is yours and your agenda is what is focused on however I will no doubt challenge you along the way. I may offer a different perspective or ask you to delve into an aspect that has never been considered before.
Messages received from previous clients:
"I just wanted to say thank you and show my appreciation for your help last year as it has greatly improved my quality of life. I hear other peoples stories with therapists that are not right for them and I count myself very fortunate that you were the right therapist for me."
main reason for this email is to say thank you for the time you spent working with me through my problems and how to tackle them. My mum has said that she and my dad were worried that they would “lose” me again during this time. However, because I feel more mentally secure, the lockdown has not had as big an impact on me as I initially thought it might. When it started, I had a lot of concerns of it causing me to reverting back to old ways of hiding and possibly allowing dark thoughts to come in. That’s not to say that there have been difficult moments or that I’m looking forward to having more freedom outside. I am just grateful that a lot of underlying issues were tackled last year."
